At the 2016 Film Festival, athenahealth won Best in Show for its video titled, "athenaGives: Connecting Care for the Uninsured," show how athenahealth provides donations of its network-enabled services to eligible free clinics across the country, including New Braunfels Volunteers in Medicine.

Each year, the Corporate Citizenship Film Festival provides companies with an opportunity to demonstrate how they have utilized video as a tool to communicate their environmental, social, and governance efforts. Sixty-eight entries were submitted into this year's festival, showcasing how companies are having a positive impact in communities on their corner and around the world. Community involvement, economic development, and environmental stewardship are just some of the topics which were touched on by the 2016 participants.

Once the province of a few unusually green or community-oriented companies, sustainability reporting is now a best practice employed by companies worldwide. A full 95 percent of the Global 250 issue sustainability reports, and by doing so gain a competitive edge in every aspect of the triple bottom line.
