VA-DC FIRST® LEGO® League Kids “Meet the Experts,” Work on Innovative Solutions to World’s Trash Problem

VA-DC FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) and Booz Allen Hamilton, in collaboration with FIRST and The United States Patent and Trademark Office, hosted the 5th annual Meet the Experts Festival for FLL teams in Virginia, DC, and Maryland on September 12. By convening trash experts from businesses, government, academia, and the nonprofit sector, Booz Allen volunteers helped FLL teams prepare for upcoming competitions where they’ll present their knowledge of trash-related problems and propose innovative solutions. Dr. Woodie Flowers, FIRST Robotics Competition co-founder and FIRST Distinguished Advisor, attended the event. Check out the photos here.
