Subaru Share the Love® Event Generously Supports Meals on Wheels and So Can You

Through the 2017 Share the Love Event, from November 16, 2017, to January 2, 2018, Subaru will donate $250 for every new Subaru vehicle purchased or leased to the customer's choice of the four national charities, including Meals on Wheels America, with a minimum guarantee of $250,000. In addition to these partners, Subaru retailers have selected hundreds of hometown charities for their customers to support as well. By the end of this year, Subaru and its participating retailers will have donated over $115 million to help those in need.
The national television spots supporting this campaign highlight inspiring beneficiaries of the four national charities, who tell their stories and encourage viewers to put a little more love in their hearts this year. The song Put a Little Love in Your Heart features prominently throughout the campaign, and is performed by each of these inspiring people as they tell their stories.
Representing Meals on Wheels, the campaign introduces Bruce, a Purple Heart military veteran, and Chris, a fellow veteran who delivers Bruce the nutrition and companionship he needs to age with dignity in his own home. The bond between Bruce and Chris captures the lasting impact Meals on Wheels creates beyond the meal itself.
