LA Kings Team up With Child Abuse Prevention Center to “Adopt” More Than 20 Families

AEG’s LA Kings adopted more than 20 families in need for the holidays through the Child Abuse Prevention Center’s Adopt-A-Family program on Dec. 9, 2017.
Prior to the LA Kings vs. Carolina Hurricanes game, the Kings’ adopted families enjoyed the LA Kings Holiday Ice at L.A. LIVE. The families then enjoyed the game from a festively decorated and catered suite at STAPLES Center.
Following the Kings’ overtime victory, the club’s eighth win in a row, the entire team joined the families in the suite to open presents donated by the team – which included clothing, home appliances, toys, books, American Express gift cards, etc. – and to wish them a happy holiday season.
