What: Celebration of Ridge Park Athletic Fields’ Completed Renovations
The heavily utilized athletic fields at Ridge Park were in need of renovation, but among a long list of projects to be prioritized by the Chicago Park District's limited capital funds. To support community health and revive local play space, Humana sponsored the new renovations at Ridge Park’s athletic fields through CBS EcoMedia’s WellnessAd program.
Renovations of the fields that began in fall of 2014 have been completed, literally paving the way for sports and recreation for local community members and youth in the Beverly Community Area of Chicago.
