In 1970, we became the first home appliance manufacturer to open an office of environmental control and we've been leading the industry in sustainable initiatives ever since. On average, the refrigerators, washers, dishwashers and freezers we make today are more energy efficient than the ones we made five years ago and 10 years ago.
