Water Efficiency & AT&T
Water scarcity is a risk to business success, and investors know it. In water-stressed areas, leading companies are facing the possibility that the water resources they need to keep growing may not always be available to them. The key to avoiding that risk is adopting smart water management strategies.
Environmental Defense Fund worked with AT&T to develop the Water Efficiency Toolkit, a framework and set of tools that can help your company reduce its water use from cooling and manage its water risk. By adopting measures laid out in the toolkit, commercial and institutional building operators could potentially achieve water savings of 14-40 percent. If adopted nationally, we could collectively save up to 28 billion gallons of water annually. AT&T has already set a goal of saving 150 million gallons annually by 2015.
