Aramark Building Community Day 2018

more than 12,000 Aramark (NYSE: ARMK) team members will volunteer their time at 400 service projects across the globe, during Aramark’s annual day of community service, Aramark Building Community Day (ABC Day). Volunteers in 15 countries, including the U.S, Canada, Chile, China and the United Kingdom, will lend their time, energy and expertise at service projects in the communities where they live and work, to bring health and wellness education and workforce readiness programs to community members.

Aramark volunteers from Chicago and Los Angeles joined more than 12,000 of their colleagues worldwide to bring health and wellness education to the communities where they live and work.

“Every year, thousands of Aramark team members come together to volunteer their time and talent on Aramark Building Community Day,” said Jeff Gilliam, President of Aramark’s Higher Education business. “Our 100 team members at UCAN brought health and wellness education to Chicago families and achieved our goal of creating long-lasting health and wellness programs, here in Chicago.”

On 10th Anniversary of Aramark Building Community, Volunteers Return to Philadelphia Community Center Where It All Began
Ten years after Aramark Building Community launched, Aramark (NYSE: ARMK) team members returned to one of the sites where it started, volunteering their time at R.W. Brown Community Center to bring health and wellness education to preschoolers and community members. These volunteers joined more than 12,000 Aramark team members, in 15 counties, who are also volunteering at 400 service projects across the globe, during Aramark’s annual day of community service, Aramark Building Community Day (ABC Day).
