Booz Allen Hamilton Receives Military Spouse Employment Award

Management consulting and technology firm Booz Allen Hamilton was honored with the USAA Military Spouse Employment and Mentoring Award,USAA Military Spouse Employment and Mentoring Award,USAA Military Spouse Employment and Mentoring Award by Hiring Our Heroes, a program of the U.S.  Chamber of Commerce, on November 1. The award is given for “demonstrated hiring and support of military spouses in their search for meaningful employment in the private sector.” Booz Allen also received the award in 2012.

Hiring Our Heroes, a program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, is a nationwide initiative to help veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses find meaningful employment opportunities. To date, more than 31,000 veterans and military spouses have obtained employment opportunities through Hiring Our Heroes events.

Booz Allen Hamilton has been a member of Hiring Our Heroes’ Military Spouse Employment Advisory Council (MSEAC), providing oversight and guidance to the program’s leadership, since 2013. This year, Booz Allen CEO Horacio Rozanski joined a coalition of more than 200 CEOs who pledged to advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace. To that end, Booz Allen seeks to lead the business community in supporting military spouse career growth and mobility.
