Booz Allen Executive Vice President Thad Allen served as the Principal Federal Designated Official during Hurricane Katrina. In commemoration of the 10^th Anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, he speaks with Juliette Kayyem of Security Mom about reflections on the recovery effort and the future of emergency preparedness. He focuses on how to increase individual preparedness and emphasizes building resiliency of the Whole Community – including individuals, business, and partners at all levels of government.
