The “Vive Saludable” (“Live Healthy”) Program takes off two tons from Banorte
(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) April 7, 2011 - Considering that fact, Banorte’s General Management for Corporate Services with the support of the Public Relations Subdivision, implemented the internal program “Vive Saludable”, which, “its main purpose is to promote actions that will allow us to create excellent eating habits and improve the quality of life of the employees (…)” said Irasema Segura.
The program consists of:-
Communicating internally the caloric value of certain foods with a tool known as “Semáforo de Alimentos” (“Food Streetlight”) and health news briefs; allowing employees to determine a balanced food intake.

Introducing healthier foods and products in cafeterias and “snacks”.

Nutrition experts providing assistance and weight control advice.

For the Monterrey’s corporate offices an agreement with Jose Alvarado of Viozon nutrition center was executed. Such agreement consists of training workshops to improve our eating habits, incorporate nutrients to our diet, menu creation, and others; as well as consultations and nutrition consulting services; which vary, depending on the package chosen by the employee.
