Quality of Life for Energy & Resources’ Indigenous Partners & Employees
Canada is home to an Indigenous population of 1.4 million. Their quality of life, when compared to their non-Indigenous counterparts, is impacted by factors that many of us can’t imagine.

Only about 40 percent of Indigenous adults in Canada have graduated high school. Many Indigenous adults experience poor health. Beyond this, many Indigenous people face discrimination, poverty, and poor living conditions on reserves.

Sodexo Becomes First Company to Require Its School Facility Directors to Complete EPA’s Indoor Air Quality Master Class Professional Training
Sodexo, the world leader in Quality of Life Services, announced today that all of its directors of facility management (FM) in the K-12 schools it serves across the U.S. have completed the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Master Class Professional Training Series.

Sodexo Provides More than 13,000 Free Summer Meals in First 10 Days at Richland School District Two
Sodexo, the world leader in Quality of Life Services, announced today that the summer meal program at Richland School District Two kicked-off successfully this year, serving more than 13,000 meals to youth in the first 10 days. The district’s Food Service Program, operated by Sodexo, is again providing free meals to youth in the county where nearly 1 in 5 kids is at risk of hunger.

New Orleans Children Benefit from Sodexo’s Feeding Our Future® Summer Meal Program
Sodexo’s Feeding Our Future® summer meal program launches in New Orleans today, helping to further close the nutrition gap that widens when the school year ends. The program, led by Sodexo’s Dining Services team at Tulane University, is a collaborative effort with the City of New Orleans Recreation Development Commission and the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation. Feeding Our Future in New Orleans starts today, June 6 and runs through August 5.

USDA discussed the challenges of connecting children with meals during the summer months and shared how families can find free programs in their community.
