It’s been ten years since Bill Baue and Francesca Rheannon launched Sea Change Radio in Western Massachusetts. To celebrate this past decade of broadcasts, we’re looking back at some of the best moments and interviews.

Last week in San Francisco, scientists, thought leaders, politicians and celebrities all gathered for the Global Climate Action Summit. Mark Hertsgaard covered the summit for The Nation magazine and is here on Sea Change Radio to provide us with his insights and takeaways from the event. Somehow, though, the stock market just keeps chugging along. Corporate profits are up, so in the eyes of the average news consumer, the economy is “strong.” But what factors are we missing in this declaration of strength?

Visitors to the Hawaiian island of Oahu marvel at the splendor of Hanauma Bay, a volcanic crater teeming with coral reefs, tropical fish, and the occasional sea turtle. But there’s something else that the snorkelers may notice as they enjoy the bright colors of a local rainbow-hued parrot fish.
