BJ's Charitable Foundation Grants $10,000 to Cardinal Cushing Centers
Cardinal Cushing Centers recently received a $10,000 grant from the BJ’s Charitable Foundation. This grant was used to purchase a SMART Table and accompanying technology for South Shore Industries, Cushing’s employment training program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
“We are so appreciative of the support we received from BJ’s Charitable Foundation,” said Jansi Chandler, vice president of development for Cardinal Cushing Centers. “Technology is a game changer for us. The tools we purchased with funds from BJ's Charitable Foundation have been a tremendous asset, helping us more effectively implement important job readiness trainings for the individuals with disabilities that we support.”
