Banorte Among Top 10 Companies to Work for in Mexico in 2012
(3BL Media) Mexico DF - April 11, 2012 - The Great Place to Work Institute Mexico certified Banorte as "A Great Place to Work 2012", placing it in 6th place in the top ten thousand Mexican firms assessed to have on staff with more of 5 000 employees, which means for the financial institution a very significant achievement after two years, in its first participation in this ranking, it ranked number 10.
Banorte was highlighted on this occasion as the best positioned among the major banks operating in the country.
The agency conducted among employees of Banorte a rigorous process of analysis and evaluation of the corporate culture of the institution and the views of employees, on topics such as trust in people they work with and pride in what they do .
The Great Place to Work Institute concluded that Banorte is a company where employees trust their leaders, are proud of what they do and enjoy the people they work with, so it meets the standards to be considered as "A great Place to Work ".
The valuation that Great Place to Work performes in over 40 countries, has been certified in our country by the Mexican Institute of Standardization and Certification A C.
On this recognition, the CEO of Grupo Financiero Banorte, Dr. Alejandro Valenzuela, said that "to achieve this recognition in a year when we were immersed in an intense process of merger between Banorte and Ixe, is particularly significant, and represents a great satisfaction to know we had a good spirit among our employees, as shown by the jump we took from 10 th to 6 th place in the evaluation of the great place to Work Institute, to place and prevailed over the major banks operating in the country ".
Moreover, Banorte announced that a study of service quality of banking in Mexico, conducted by market research company Research Master, Banorte and Ixe were among the three banks that passed safer for customers and users that operate online.
In the same investigation, Ixe received the highest rating (4.1 on a scale of 5) in the overall assessment of satisfaction of care, while Banorte received the third highest score (3.7) among a total of 12 institutions evaluated.
