You Had Me At {Hello} Citizen Diplomacy Campaign Announces Photo Contest
Washington DC/Des Moines, IA, July 15, 2013 /3BL Media/ - : The U.S. Center for Citizen Diplomacy (USCCD) is excited to announce the “You had me at {Hello}” photo contest. The contest is part of USCCD’s online engagement campaign centered on the theme “You had me at {Hello}." (Miss the campaign video? Check it out here.) Lifelong connections with people from around the world often start with a gesture or expression – whether simply through a smile or just a friendly {Hello}.
If you have participated in a cultural exchange activity or program – formal or informal, abroad or at home – and have captured these powerful interactions that highlight and celebrate diversity, we invite you to share them by entering our photo contest!
The contest, which is separated into a category for individuals and a category for organizations, will select the 4 photos that best represent citizen diplomacy in action. The two winners from the individuals category will receive $100 and a highlight on the USCCD blog. The winning organizations will receive a mention on the USCCD blog as well as a one–year, all benefits included USCCD membership.
