Xylem Selected to Participate in Smart Cities Business Development Mission to India
RYE BROOK, N.Y., Feb. 10, 2016 /3BL Media/ -- Xylem (NYSE:XYL), a leading global water technology company dedicated to solving the world’s most challenging water issues, recently announced that it has been selected to participate in the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Smart Cities Infrastructure Business Development Mission to India, taking place from February 8 – 12, 2016. U.S. Deputy Secretary of Commerce Bruce Andrews will lead this mission, accompanied by representatives from 18 companies. Director of the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) Lee Zak and Vice President of Global Business Development at the Export-Import Bank Ray Ellis will also participate in the mission.
The trade mission will include visits to New Dehli, Mumbai, Chennai, and Vizag, and is intended to help U.S. companies launch or increase their business in India, focusing on technologies, systems and services in the safety and security, intelligent transportation, water, wastewater, and power sectors.
