Women Gather at Sold-out 2016 Women's Leadership Conference
More than one thousand women (and a handful of good men) gathered at MGM Grand Las Vegas for the annual two-day event, which featured a acclaimed keynote speakers, workshops and more
For the 10th consecutive year, empowered women (and a few good men!) gathered for the MGM Resorts Foundation Women's Leadership Conference. They came from around the city and around the country.
The two-day conference – which sold-out for the third year in a row with the largest crowd in the event’s history – featured a robust lineup of dynamic speakers, including Donna Brazile, the first African American woman to serve as campaign manager for a major party presidential campaign, Adrianne Haslet, a survivor of the Boston Marathon bombing and Alison Levine an acclaimed mountain climber who served as team captain of the first American Women’s Everest Expedition.
Emmy-winning broadcast journalist for CNN, NBC and CNBC Natalie Allen returned to host the highly-anticipated event, that also offered career-oriented workshops and personalized, professional development training.
The tenth annual event was presented by The MGM Resorts Foundation and The Foundation all proceeds, after costs, will be donated to a nonprofit organization in the Las Vegas community that specifically focuses on helping women or girls.
