Verisk Health Employees Prepare to Showcase Provider Analytics Solution at the AMGA Annual Conference
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, March 12, 2013 /3BL Media/ - Verisk Health, a leader in data-driven risk assessment and performance management technologies, announced it will demonstrate its population health management analytics solution at the American Medical Group Association (AMGA) Annual Conference on March 14 to 16. The company will also discuss joint efforts with Phytel to develop a new product offering that combines claims-based risk assessment and medical cost management with enterprise-level care management based on real-time clinical data.
“As healthcare risk continues to shift across the care continuum, doctors will need new technologies in place that support a successful transition into value-based payment systems,” said Joel Portice, president of Verisk Health. “Verisk Health is driving innovation in this space. At AMGA, we will bring that message directly to the provider community by demonstrating the analytics building blocks that support sustainable accountable care models.”
Verisk Health’s demonstration at AMGA will build upon the company’s recent panel discussion at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society HIMSS13 Annual Conference and Exhibition. During the interactive presentation, industry veteran Matt Siegel, vice president of market development at Verisk Health, discussed the use of risk management techniques to drive population engagement, quality improvement, and cost control at the point of care.
