Melanne Verveer, is the Executive Director of the Institute for Women, Peace and Security at Georgetown University and a founding partner of Seneca Point Global, the global women strategy firm. Most recently, she served as the first United States Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women's Issues, nominated by President Barack Obama in February and confirmed by the United States Senate in April 2009. In that role, she directed the Office of Global Women's Issues. Previously, Ambassador Verveer served as the Chair and Co-CEO of Vital Voices Global Partnership, which she co-founded with Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2001. Vital Voices is a global NGO that supports emerging women leaders who are advancing economic, political and social progress in their societies.
Katy Knox, Senior Vice President of Bank of America and has more than 25 years of leadership experience in financial services, including senior positions in commercial banking, corporate strategy, global treasury management, consumer banking, and marketing. Knox is one of a select group of senior Bank of America leaders chosen to serve as a partner for Simplify & Improve, a company-wide effort to drive long-term operational excellence by reducing complexity, simplifying work flow and investing in the company’s operating platform. She is also a member of the executive management operating committee. Knox actively participates in diversity networks across the company. She previously served as vice chair of Bank of America’s Global Diversity and Inclusion Council, and was named to Diversity MBA Magazine’s Top 100 Under 50 Diverse Executive & Emerging Leaders for 2011.
Cindy Schneider is a co-founder of 3BL Media. Tapping into her long-held entrepreneurial spirit in 2009, she formed 3BL Media with several partners and continues oversee company operations and media consulting. Prior to co-founding 3BL Media, Cindy held various senior management positions in the communications and technology fields. In these roles, she worked with hundreds of for-profit and non-profit organizations to guide and assist them with their CSR outreach strategies. What has inspired Cindy on her professional journey the most has been her daughter – wanting to set an example of what women can accomplish and the impact that we are all empowered to make on this world.
