Trend Micro's 'What's Your Story?' Video Contest Promotes Youth Talent
Trend Micro Inc's fourth annual 'What's Your Story?' video competition is underway to showcase the best of the Internet. The innovative, award-winning contest provides youth with an interactive platform to present their filmmaking talents before the world, and also tell how they channeled the immense power of the Internet positively through creative storytelling. It is also an opportunity for filmmakers and students in the U.S. and Canada to win more than $20,000 in prize money.
The contest has differentiated itself this year from previous years, which individual contest categories. This year Trend Micro is asking contestants to answer a single question through their films: "What does the good side of the Internet look like?" The entries will be evaluated not only on the basis of how well they have presented the positive ways to leverage the power of the Internet, but also how effectively the contestants have promoted and crowd-sourced their entries through social networking.
