Keeping kids in school is a national priority.  Today, Deloitte is proud to join with City Year and their key stakeholders on Capitol Hill to announce our renewed three-year commitment of nearly $4M in cash and pro bono support.  As a City Year National Leadership Sponsor, we’re also proud to contribute the time and talent of our people who serve on 13 City Year boards,  who mentor nearly 250 City Year corps members, and who work on pro bono engagements throughout the year.

We’ve also sponsored City Year’s latest white paper titled “Closing the Implementation Gap”  which examines the gap that results when school staff members’ time and school resources are not sufficient to meet the intensity of student need.  It includes a forward by Deloitte CEO Joe Echevarria.
