Tetra Tech’s 2016 STEM Program Results

Building on its legacy of leading with science, in 2016 Tetra Tech launched its Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) program to help shape the next generation of engineers and scientists. During our program’s first year, Tetra Tech employees around the world completed 60 STEM events. From Australia to North America, our staff have volunteered their time to engage students in science and promote STEM careers in their local communities.

In 2016 Tetra Tech reached more than 5,800 people from five countries. These events included teaching elementary, high school, and college students about STEM subjects; facilitating discussions with professional women in STEM-related careers; and partnering with local dignitaries to promote this exciting cause.

In addition, Tetra Tech also donated more than 2,416 copies of its Future Engineering: The Clean Water Challenge book, which helps elementary school students increase their knowledge of water sources, water usage, and conservation.

By sharing their passion, knowledge, and time with students around the world, in 2016 our employees set the foundation for Tetra Tech’s continued STEM efforts. As our STEM program grows, we aim to continue our legacy of leading with science by sparking a passion for innovation with children and students of all ages. We look forward to continuing to support tomorrow’s problem solvers and innovators, who will address the world’s most pressing scientific and engineering challenges.
