Ten Booz Allen Employees Named Modern Day Technology Leaders at Black Engineer of the Year Awards Ceremony

This year's 31st annual BEYA Global STEM Conference recognized ten Booz Allen Hamilton engineers as Modern Day Technology Leaders (MDTL). The conference and awards program took place February 9 through 11 in Washington, DC.

Booz Allen’s partnership with the BEYA program dates back to 2005. To date, more than 100 Booz Allen employees have been recognized for their work in the field.

This year, Booz Allen participated in a number of STEM-related panels and sponsored a corporate seminar at the event. Current BEYA winner Malica Fleming and past Booz Allen BEYA winners, Arnett Brown, Christal Gordon, and Andre Lewis participated in "The Engineer and the Consultant: How Engineers Can Have Successful Careers in the Consulting Industry," which focused on the many ways engineers are leading and driving innovative client work at Booz Allen. "Having the opportunity to help design and lead the corporate seminar on behalf of the firm was a great way to give back to a conference that has contributed to my career growth and helped to extend my Booz Allen network," said Arnett Brown, Senior Lead Engineer in the firm’s Defense and Intelligence Group.
