TD Recognized in Bloomberg Financial Services Gender-Equality Index
TORONTO, January 25, 2017 /3BL Media/ -- TD is pleased to announce that it is one of 52 companies included in the 2017 Bloomberg Financial Services Gender-Equality Index (BFGEI). Aimed at investors and organizations, the index reveals information on company gender statistics, gender conscious product offerings, external community engagement and employee policies and practices.

Each of the companies listed on the index earned a 60-plus score based on the underlying gender disclosures and best-in-class policies and practices for fiscal year 2015. TD’s BFGEI score was 81.61.
Every year, TD hosts more than 120 Women in Leadership events across North America, and gives approximately $1 million to community based organizations that support women.
Women make up 37% of TD’s senior leadership group in Canada, and TD’s female executives have been celebrated among some of the most exceptional and influential in North America.
