TD - the Only Canadian Bank Listed in the DJSI World Index
September 14, 2016 /3BL Media/ - For the third year in a row – TD has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability (DJSI) World Index which reflects the top 10 percent of leading companies worldwide. Out of 193 banks, TD was the only Canadian Bank to be included in the short list of 27 banks.
The DJSI benchmarks the sustainability performance of leading companies based on environmental, social and economic performance. TD achieved a total score of 84, which is 23 points higher than the industry average and 3 points higher than last year. TD was recognized for its strong performance in the areas of corporate governance, risk management, climate strategy and corporate citizenship.
