TCS VIDEO | How Middle School Teachers in Texas Are Preparing Thousands of Students for the Future Through a Revolutionary Computational Thinking Approach

Ann Richards Middle School in Dallas, TX was the inaugural site for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Discovery Education’s computational thinking model, Ignite My Future in School. More than 150 teachers from across the district launched training on the new interactive STEM curriculum to enhance their classroom experience. The event connected Dallas teachers with Discovery Education and TCS experts to learn about the program and understand its purpose. The Ignite My Future in School initiative selected Dallas ISD as one of only ten early-adopting districts to receive dedicated training and resources for implementation. TCS and Discovery Education experts discussed the curriculum development and the overarching goals of the program to help prepare students with the skills that can translate to any industry and workplace in the future. Ignite My Future in School builds on TCS’ robust community initiatives that have inspired more than two million young people in STEM education and careers.
