Tapestry and L'Oreal Co-host "Juneteenth: A Celebration of Freedom"
At Tapestry we believe that difference sparks brilliance. Equity, inclusion and diversity pave the way for unlocking the potential of our people, our business and our communities. Our employee business resource groups (EBRGs) are one of the many ways we spotlight and amplify employee voices within Tapestry and with our stakeholders.
Last week, Tapestry’s Black Alliance EBRG and L’Oreal’s Black @ L'Oréal employee resource group (ERG) teamed up to host Juneteenth: A Celebration of Freedom at our Hudson Yards HQ.
Employees from both organizations were invited to a panel conversation about Juneteenth, which commemorates the emancipation of enslaved people in the U.S., to share personal stories and reflect on themes of community, equity, and justice. Following the discussion, it was time for a block party with live music, dancing, food, games, and great company.
Thank you to the 200+ attendees who joined us both in-person and virtually for an inspiring afternoon, and to Black Alliance and Black @ L’Oréal for the opportunity to come together and connect. We’re grateful to have teams and local partners who actively embrace and cultivate equity, inclusion and diversity every day.
