Aruba donates healthcare connectivity bundles and forms Airheads Volunteer Corps
With the global spread of COVID-19 affecting our communities, colleagues, partners and customers, we are focused on doing everything we can to help those in need. Hospitals, healthcare facilities and first responders are on the front lines of this epic battle, and their ability to maximize impact is contingent on their ability to maintain and scale their operations through expanded infrastructure and secure network connectivity.
That’s why HPE Aruba is responding to the increased need for temporary healthcare sites for the triaging, testing and treatment of COVID-19 patients by donating $50 million in secure connectivity kits for the immediate provisioning of pop-up clinics, testing sites and temporary hospital facilities in the US, Canada and select countries in Europe and Asia-Pacific.
Aruba technology and our Airheads Volunteer Corps can help support the heroic efforts of the healthcare industry during these unprecedented times
In addition, to help healthcare organizations get set up quickly, Aruba has created the Airheads Volunteer Corps, a global registry of volunteer network engineers ready to assist in the build-out of network infrastructures for medical facilities on the front lines of dealing with this pandemic.
An opt-in only registry of skilled network engineers interested in doing what they can to assist our medical community with their networking needs, the Airheads Volunteer Corp was designed to connect those in need of IT skills with those who have the ability to help. Joining the Airheads Volunteer Corps is simple and there’s no obligation. To join, simply fill out the online form and Aruba will match Airhead community members with healthcare facilities near them who can use their skills.
Our hope is that by working together, Aruba and our Airheads community can help support the heroic efforts of the healthcare industry during these unprecedented times.
