2010 marked a growing trend in progressive supply chain organizations towards increased supply chain transparency.  Placing a greater emphasis on environmental and social responsibility actions within in the supply chain, integrated business sustainability-driven efforts are creating new strategic sourcing criteria and procurement guidelines.   The 2011 supply chain will be marked by increase environmental and social risk management and value creation.
