KEYNOTE ADDRESS
Speaker: John O. Creighton, Former NASA Astronaut, Navy Test Pilot and Boeing Chief Technical Pilot
John O. Creighton, highly decorated American astronaut and fighter pilot, will take us on an unforgettable journey as he kicks off SPF. He will provide a unique introduction to risk and safety, two of the big themes of SPF Americas 2014, making you think of these topics as never before. Creighton will touch upon the importance of controls and processes while in space and how the same challenges and best practices can apply to EH&S, Sustainability and Risk professionals. He’ll pull insight from efforts to make spaceflight safer after the Challenger disaster and time as a Top Gun instructor.
BIG PICTURE BUSINESS TRENDS IN MANAGING HEALTH & SAFETY INCIDENTS
