Southwest Conservation In Action Tour Brings Conservation to the Golden State
Volunteers in the Bay Area plant 80 trees
Jul 11, 2011 4:00 PM ET
There were two projects in the Bay area: one in Oakland and one in San Mateo. Volunteers worked with San Mateo Parks at Coyote Point Recreation Area in San Mateo, CA and East Bay Regional Parks at the Tidewater Boating Center in Oakland, CA. Southwest Warriors planted trees, removed invasive plant species, painted park benches, and picked up trash around the sites.
