Southern Nevada Christmas Tree Recycling Program

Congratulations to the Southern Nevada Christmas Tree Recycling program for recycling more than 20,000 Christmas trees this year! A new record for Southern Nevada. ‪#‎MulchMadness.  More than 20,000 trees were recycled and diverted from landfills this year, almost double the volume recycled last year!  Republic Services donated more than a dozen roll-off dumpsters in partnership with Lowes to collect and haul trees for chipping.  Great community effort in collaboration with UNLV, Lowes, Springs Preserve, Nevada Division of Environmental Protection and more.
