Sodexo Ranks High on FlexJobs’ Top 100 Companies for Remote Jobs List
GAITHERSBURG, Md., January 29, 2018 /3BL Media/ - Sodexo, a food services and facilities management company, announced today it ranked #41 on FlexJobs’ Top 100 Companies to Watch for Remote Jobs in 2018 list. For the third consecutive year, Sodexo was recognized for the number of opportunities available on its job board last year that allowed telecommuting as an option, either full- or part-time.
“Improving the quality of daily life begins with our employees,” said Gerri Mason Hall, senior vice president, human resources services, Sodexo North America. “At Sodexo, we believe employees who effectively manage work and life demands achieve enhanced personal and professional well-being.”
Sodexo offers flexible work arrangements for eligible employees. If approved, employees can choose from job sharing, remote work, telecommuting, flex time, which adjusts the start or end of a work day, or part-time work.
The inspiration for Sodexo’s flexible work arrangements stems from the company’s FLOW (Flexibility Optimizes Work) initiative. Designed to engage, retain and attract top talent, FLOW combines the characteristics of a formal and informal workplace culture to accommodate employees allowing them to prioritize both work and personal life responsibilities. Through a flexible work culture, employees develop a greater sense of control and responsibility and as a result, produce quality work and satisfied clients and customers.
Currently, Sodexo has approximately 5100 jobs available across the U.S., including frontline, management and executive roles, and is recognized as an award-winning employer. In 2017, Sodexo was named on DiversityInc’s Top 50 Companies for Diversity list, the 2017 LATINA Style® 50 Report (recognizing top companies for Latinas) and Best Companies for Multicultural Women by Working Mother magazine.
