Schneider Electric and Microplásticos Work Together To Decarbonize Supply Chain
- Microplásticos announces goal of being Net-Zero in Scope 1 and 2 by 2030
- Collaboration will support Schneider Electric’s Zero Carbon Project to decarbonize supply chain
In addition, Schneider Electric launched ‘The Zero Carbon Project’ to partner with its top 1,000 suppliers to halve their operations’ CO2 emissions by 2025. As a supplier to Schneider Electric, Microplásticos has demonstrated strong commitments to decarbonization and is partnering with Schneider Electric to develop their carbon strategy and roadmap.

To support their decarbonization efforts, Microplásticos plans to eliminate Mobile emissions (Scope 1) by 2026 and are working to immediately procure renewable energy in support of its goal to have 100% renewable electricity from 2023.
