Save The Date! GRI Conferences In 2015-2016
GRI is pleased to announce the dates for its Africa Regional Conference, 12-13 May 2015, and fifth Global Conference, 18-20 May 2016.
Africa Regional Conference, 12-13 May 2015
The conference will convene up to 250 sustainability leaders and practitioners from across Africa and the globe. The goal of the conference is to provide a platform for enhancing the quality and value of sustainability reporting, and to encourage greater levels of corporate disclosure and accountability.
On 12 May, a series of Reporting Master Classes will be organized. On 13 May, there will be a variety of plenary debates, panel discussions, and parallel sessions. Attendees will also have ample opportunities for networking during coffee breaks and at the closing cocktail reception.
Online registration will be opened by the end of January 2015. The ‘early bird’ conference fee will be around ZAR 1,500 with discounts for GRI’s Organizational Stakeholders, as well as SMEs, academics, and non-profit organizations. Fifth Global Conference, 18-20 May 2016
More than 1,200 sustainability leaders and practitioners from around the globe are expected to attend GRI’s Fifth Global Conference. As with past conferences, an inclusive meeting place will be created, for individuals from multiple stakeholder groups and regional delegations, with a focus on networking, capability building, and peer-to-peer learning. The GRI Global Conference attracts people who work with the GRI Standard on a day-to-day basis, as well as executives, policy-makers and other professionals with an interest in the link between sustainability reporting and the critical global challenges of our times.
