Safeway to Announce Seniors-only Shopping Hour to Protect From COVID-19

We've set up a donation in our check stands at the pin pad. The money will go to organizations that are working to provide meals for students who need it while schools are closed, organizations that are helping recently unemployed with SNAP and WIC benefits as quickly as possible, and then there are organizations that need funding to help transport local food banks and feeding programs.
Anybody can do that at any check stand, even if it's just your change, and we at the Safeway Albertsons have committed to match up to $3 million of customer donations.
