Ronald McDonald House Families Enjoy Meals Made by Amway Volunteers

Amway Corporate employs 4,000 people – and more than half volunteer in the local community each year! One nonprofit that benefits from the involvement of Amway volunteers is the Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan (RMHWM). Amway and Ronald McDonald House have been partners for more than 20 years.
At RMHWM, Amway employees have been an integral group in the meals program, providing more than 12 meals for families in 2015 alone. The meals program is the largest program at the House with nearly 1,000 volunteers each year working to provide a hot meal every night for RMHWM families. Employees of Amway love cooking at the House. They plan the menu, do the shopping, cook onsite and most importantly socialize with the guests they are serving that evening.
Amway employees are proud to support a program that is making a tangible difference in the lives of families during a difficult time. “Amway has a culture of helping others,” said David Madiol, Community Relations Manager at Amway. “Volunteering is one way each of us can get involved.”
At the heart of it all, Amway volunteers support the meals program which in turn helps grant families staying at RMHWM with their greatest wish – more time with their children.
