Rockwell Automation's Focus on DEI Creates Noteworthy Change
Robust diversity, equity and inclusion programs help employees bring their authentic selves to work. While these programs foster engagement, innovation, and productivity to improve a company’s bottom line, even more important is the relevance a healthy culture has to potential new employees. Companies recognized for DEI also are attractive to potential new employees as a place to build their careers.
How well U.S.-based companies are building and maintaining that culture is measured by organizations like DiversityInc.
Through an annual survey, data-driven diversity and inclusion analysis, DiversityInc selects organizations that strive to bring education and clarity to the business benefits of diversity. The result is the DiversityInc Top 50 list. For the fifth time, Rockwell Automation was named a 2022 DiversityInc Noteworthy Company.
The metrics-driven evaluation is based on data in six key areas: Leadership Accountability, Human Capital Diversity Metrics, Talent Programs, Workforce Practices, Supplier Diversity, and Philanthropy.
This year’s recognition event, themed “ESG: Climate & Culture at Risk,” focused on the S (social) and the G (governance) and took an in-depth look at the impact culture has on the environment and why DEI is necessary to create sustainable change.
“Commitment and collaborative action are two of our differentiators,” says Bobby Griffin, Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at Rockwell Automation. “Advancing DEI efforts in our global workplaces strengthens our bonds with our current and future workforce, and with our communities, and supports our overall ESG efforts.”
The DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity list began in 2001, when many corporations were beginning to understand the business value of diversity-management initiatives. Learn more about Rockwell’s DEI efforts in its recent Sustainability Report.
