Rockwell Automation Named Again to the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices and Wisconsin Green Masters Program
MILWAUKEE, December 6, 2021, /3BL Media/ - Rockwell Automation (NYSE: ROK) has been listed for the 11th time on the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI). Launched in 1999, the DJSI are a pioneering series of sustainability benchmarks comprised of global, regional, and country leaders assessed annually on long-term governance and economic, environmental, and social criteria.
Additionally, Rockwell has also earned Green Masters Program certification from the Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council for the eighth consecutive year. Green Masters is a sustainability recognition, assessment, and certification program for Wisconsin businesses.
In August, Rockwell announced it was named to the FTSE4Good Index Series for the 20th time. The Index is designed to measure the performance of companies demonstrating strong Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) practices.
Rockwell launched an updated sustainability strategy in 2020 including a new goal of net zero, carbon neutral (Scopes 1 and 2) by 2030. Earlier this year it expanded its corporate sustainability team and function with additional investment and resources including newly created positions in business units and functional areas to accelerate the launch of new and enhanced sustainability solutions for customers.
