Republic Services Participates in Touch-a-Truck at Oregon State University

Republic Services of Western Oregon participated in a Touch-a-Truck event at Oregon State University’s Reser Stadium. Republic’s big blue truck was parked on the plaza right in front of the stadium. Republic drivers were able to talk with kids and their families about truck safety, and many of the kids were able to hop in the driver’s seat to get a feel for what is like to drive the big truck.

“It was a great opportunity to talk with people in the communities we serve and to let them know that safety is our #1 focus on the streets,” said Shawn Edmonds, general manager for Republic Services.
