Republic Services Hosted Fourth of July Kids’ Zone in Sacramento

For The Fourth of July, Republic Services of Sacramento hosted a Kids’ Zone at the Elk Grove “Salute to the Red White and Blue.” This festival and firework show is an annual traditional held at Elk Grove Regional Park, but the kids’ zone was this year’s new addition. Republic Services sponsored an entire area for kids of all ages to come and play.

The roped off area was free for anyone in attendance and had games for individuals and groups. The kids’ zone included giant four-in-a-row, giant tic-tac-toe, giant snakes and ladders, giant checkers/chess, two different bowling games, disc golf, chuck-a-ball, corn hole, graffiti chalk boards, inflatable balls and giant Jenga – recycling edition. Republic also hosted a balloon twister to make swords, hats and balloon animals for the kids. The Republic Services Kids’ Zone was the only area in the event with interactive activities, making it a popular stop for people of all ages.
