A Renewed Career Through the Cadence Returnship Program

Depending on the circumstances, there are times in our lives when we have to step away from our work. Rejoining the workforce is not always easy, especially when taking a long break in the high-tech field. The Cadence Returnship Program provides a means for engineers to build a renewed career through relevant working experience and exposure to new technologies.
We recently interviewed Returnship Program alum Diana Kuai, who is now a lead application engineer at Cadence. Learn more about Diana’s Journey to Returnship from first discovering the program to her transition back into high-tech.
The Returnship Program was started to re-engage parents, caretakers, and individuals that are ready to get back in the field after a break from the industry to parent, provide care, or serve in the military. Over the 16-week program, returnees familiarize themselves with new technologies, collaborate across teams, identify new innovations, and network with peers. In many cases, returnees are offered a full-time position upon completion of the program. To apply for the program, please visit our job openings page.
This is the second part of a three-part series focused on sharing the experiences of participants of our Returnship Program.
