Edison International is joining with the company’s employees and the public to raise relief funds for Nepal following the country’s recent devastating earthquake.
The U.N. has appealed to the international community for $415 million in aid to supply food, water, shelter and medical care in Nepal over the next three months.
Company employees who donate to the tax-deductible Edison International’s Relief Fund will be matched dollar-for-dollar to a company total of $10,000 up until May 29. Contributions to the relief fund will be donated to Doctors Without Borders and the American National Red Cross, nonprofits that have already established operations on the ground in Nepal.
