PYXERA Global Leads Interactive Tri-Sector Partnership Training at IMPACT 2030 and Concordia Summits
Workshop emphasizes the opportunities partnerships present and how to avoid common pitfalls
WASHINGTON, September 29, 2016 /3BL Media/ – PYXERA Global facilitated its tri-sector partnership training during United Nations General Assembly week at two leading social impact events. The first training took place at the IMPACT 2030 Summit, a bi-annual convening of IMPACT 2030 members working to advance corporate volunteerism for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) It was followed by the Concordia Summit on September 19, 2016. Facilitated by Deirdre White, PYXERA Global’s CEO, and Matt Clark, Global Engagement Manager, the training helps professionals in the public, private, and social sectors identify where their organization can contribute to a critical social challenge and effectively collaborate with other sectors to advance a solution.
“At the IMPACT 2030 Summit, this training helped companies dig into tri-sector partnership through an interactive experience as a path to the SDGs,” said Ms. White. “A few days later at Concordia, multiple sectors came together to tackle the challenges—and identify the opportunities—of working with other sectors. We know partnership can be daunting, but to make progress on goals as big as the SDGs, it is vital.”
The tri-sector partnership training, designed and implemented by PYXERA Global, actively engages participants in the challenges of partnership, equipping them with the know-how and tools to effectively engage in multi-sectorial engagements.
IMPACT 2030 held its inaugural Global Summit September 14 through 16 in New York City in collaboration with the United Nations, top business leaders and social sector professionals gathered to actively advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). IMPACT 2030 is the only business-led collaboration with the United Nations that is designed to marshal the power of human capital to address SDGs.
At the Concordia Summit, thought leaders from around the globe gathered to examine the world’s most pressing challenges and identify collaborative solutions.
