A Perfect Pairing Wine Tasting Event to Benefit Susquehanna Service Dogs
Harrisburg, PA, July 9, 2014 /3BL Media/ — Fine wine, good food, a winery tour, and a service dog demonstration—it’s A Perfect Pairing! Susquehanna Service Dogs is hosting a wine tasting event at Hauser Estate Winery in Biglerville, Pennsylvania on September 21 at 5:30 p.m.
In addition to an evening of wine tasting and dinner, guests will have the opportunity to take a tour of the winery and see a service dog demonstration by one of Susquehanna Service Dogs’ skilled demonstration dogs.
Tickets are $50 per person and are available online or by calling 717-599-5920. A limited number of tickets will be sold.
A Perfect Pairing benefits Susquehanna Service Dogs (SSD), a program of Keystone Human Services. Since 1993, Susquehanna Service Dogs has placed over 225 service, hearing, balance, facility, companion, and in-home service dogs with children and adults, including military veterans. Each dog is individually trained for each person, based on their unique needs. While promoting maximum independence, these highly trained service dogs make it possible for their human partners to pursue everyday lives, including meaningful employment, education, and community life.
A fully accredited member of Assistance Dogs International, Susquehanna Service Dogs is a nonprofit program of Keystone Human Services and also receives support from Tri-County United Way.
