Patty Nowak Is Tetra Tech's June 2021 Project Manager of the Month

Project managers (PM) are the face of Tetra Tech to every client and are the people who ensure that our project work is done to the highest standards of quality and fiscal discipline. Tetra Tech CEO Dan Batrack honors those who work at the highest level of excellence with our PM of the Month award.

Patty has been the PM for the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Web & Mobile Technology Program since 2014. She has worked with Tetra Tech since 2019 and is based in our Tacoma, Washington, office. Patty has spent more than 35 years in the information technology (IT) industry working as a software developer and PM designing, developing, and supporting various large enterprise software solutions. Patty holds Project Management Professional, Scrum Master, and Information Technology Infrastructure Library v3 certifications.

Patty manages a group of more than 70 developers, PMs, testers, user experience designers, and IT system administrators who develop and support websites and mobile applications for military service members and their families. She maintains excellent Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) ratings and client satisfaction. Patty currently leads a team of six other PMs and four team leads to deliver a portfolio of more than 20 active web and mobile projects.

Through Patty’s leadership, Tetra Tech received exceptional grades from the government and CPARS in all categories, including quality, cost control, management, and schedule. Her team receives frequent praise from clients and other government and military leadership she works with.
