Out Leadership Welcomes Henkel as Its Newest Member
Henkel expands DE&I resources and support
ROCKY HILL, Conn., July 22, 2021 /3BL Media/ - Out Leadership, the oldest and largest coalition of global companies working to improve LGBTQ+ equality in the world, has welcomed Henkel, the company behind well-known brands such as Loctite® adhesives, Dial®, Schwarzkopf® hair care, all® laundry detergent, and Snuggle® fabric softeners, as its latest member in 2021.

With approximately 9,000 employees at nearly 70 sites across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico, Henkel North America, has a strong commitment to helping create a more inclusive and equitable society for all. As part of this commitment, the company has spearheaded several new and long-standing initiatives to strengthen its inclusive culture, increase diverse representation and ensure equal access to opportunities for all employees. Recent initiatives include:

- A robust Supplier Diversity Program
- Scholarship and internships programs with key partners, including Scholarship America, INROADS and CEE Centre For Young Black Professionals.
In addition, Henkel has 15 Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) across North America, including: Asian/Pacific Islander, Black/African American, Emerging Leaders, Hispanic/LatinX, LGBTQ+, Military/Veterans, Multicultural, and Women. ERGs are employee-led groups that create a sense of belonging and safe places for discussions, facilitate networking, enhance career development, and build community. They are open to all employees.
