Our Employees Are a Force for Good
By Claudine Galloway
When the novel coronavirus spread across the world, one thing was evident among General Mills employees – they wanted to do their part to help in some way.
Across the company, from our product brand teams and the General Mills Foundation to employees in their free time, plans were made and action was taken.
Here’s a small snapshot of our collective actions during the pandemic so far.
“I’m incredibly proud of the actions our employees, brands, foundation and company as a whole have been taking throughout the pandemic to respond to those in need,” says Nicola Dixon, executive director of the General Mills Foundation. “From our employees taking part in virtual volunteering and small acts of kindness, to our manufacturing plants pivoting to make food specifically to donate to food banks, it has been incredibly inspiring to see the unique ways our teams and employees have found new ways to be a force for good during this difficult time.”
