O’Brien’s II General Store and CITGO are Fueling Good for Portsmouth Little League

Portsmouth, NH, June 12, 2014 /3BL Media/ – Local CITGO Retailer O’Brien’s II General Store and CITGO Petroleum Corporation are giving back to the local Portsmouth Little League with a “Freaky Friday” promotion. From June to September, five cents of every gallon of gas pumped at O’Brien’s II General Store on the last Friday of the month will be donated to the Portsmouth Little League.

“This is a great opportunity for O’Brien’s II General Store and our neighbors to support our local community,” said O’Brien’s II General Store Manager Richard Plaisted. “Each customer that fuels up at our O’Brien’s II CITGO station will be fueling good for our local little league baseball team. Every gallon pumped and penny raised will help these children play the sport they love this summer.”

The money raised during the “Freaky Friday” promotion will be used to buy baseball equipment for children in the Portsmouth Little League. The promotion takes place from 5:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. on June 27, July 25, Aug. 29 and Sept. 26.

“This is a great opportunity for the community to give back to other seacoast residents and help Portsmouth families enjoy one of our town’s favorite pastimes,” said Portsmouth Little League President Kathie Lynch. “Portsmouth Little League is an all-volunteer organization where kids learn about teamwork, focus and determination. O’Brien’s II General Store’s “Freaky Friday” promotion will help every child that wants to play baseball do so without worrying about the cost of equipment.”
